What is Secure Text Messaging?
Our trained operators will gather caller information and notify you when a secure text message is available. When you log-in to check the message, you are actually logging into a proprietary server tied into our operations system. No caller information actually leaves our database.
After we take the message, our system will notify you via text message that you have a new secure text available. This note will be followed by a web link that will bring you directly to our server, plus provide notation of the intended recipient. For example, it will say the intended recipient’s name, along with the phone number of the party trying to reach you. No personal information will be sent out.
Once the message is received, you can either call the number and see who the caller is and what he or she is calling about or you can open the secure texting site on your phone by tapping on the web link provided and view the entire message. On the site, you will see a format that looks exactly like a standard text message.
Secure Text Messaging Service For All Types Of Companies
Not only does Edwards Answering Service’s Secure Texting keep information safe, it gives businesses flexibility. The service is available on Android, iPhone and Blackberry devices. However, Secure Texting is not HTML5 compatible, so if a Blackberry is being used, it must be running OS 6 or higher.
You are also not required to download the Secure Texting mobile application, because when you receive the notification, you will be given the direct link each time.
When you receive a message, the system will inform you that a new secure text is available and then instruct you to log-in and access that text’s content in full. Again, a link is provided for you to tap on and it looks like a website address. There will also be a name of the intended recipient and the phone number of the person trying to reach you so that you can call them back.
From there, you simply log-in with your Client ID and password. These can either be assigned to you, or you can choose them.
