I read an article recently by Guidant Financial 2018 Business Trends & Statistics that reminded me of challenges faced by today’s small business owners.

This article sites that 34% of small businesses are operating with the owner being the sole employee and 44% only have 2-5 employees. Having limited staff can be a real challenge to meeting the increasing needs of customers. Many small business owners struggle with having to be “on-call” 24/7 and this can lead to increased stress and decreased customer service.

Partnering with a professional answering service allows small business owners to run their company more efficiently. Reputable answering services allow for customizable accounts and message delivery systems, appointment scheduling, relaying information to callers and gathering needed information. These services are available at a fraction of the cost of adding to staffing and allow small business owners to achieve a healthier work/home balance.
