On Wednesday, Apple made the long-awaited announcement about the next version of the iPhone, set to be released on September 21.
The iPhone 5 will have a larger screen, faster wireless internet speeds and a more powerful computer chip. It was also announced that the new design is 18 percent thinner and 20 percent lighter.
As reported by The New York Times, Apple executives said that it's not important to them to have the smartphone with the biggest screen or fastest speeds. Rather, they want to create the best package possible for their customers, not necessarily with all the bells and whistles.
Timothy Cook, Apple's chief executive, told the Times that he feels the need to be the best and the company doesn't view its products as a checklist of features.
"Where they are pushing the envelope, and where they remain the one to beat, is on the experience those features bring to the consumer," Carolina Milanesi, Gartner Research analyst said in an interview with Reuters. "While other vendors continue to focus just on the hardware – delivering the speeds and feeds and bigger batteries – Apple focuses on pulling the operating system, the hardware and what you can consume on the hardware."
Even after a business or organization has solidly established themselves in an industry and has a loyal consumer base, it's crucial to continue to provide quality customer service.
Working with an answering service will help in this process as representatives will be made available 24/7 through phone, email or text messaging services. No matter what the issue, or when it occurs, a customer will always know they are a top priority.
